Cambridge School Board Sends Letter to Community

The Cambridge School Board  has sent a letter to Cambridge families informing them of the impact that proposed state budget cuts will have on students in the Cambridge School District, and encouraging parents and community members to contact legislators with their questions and concerns.  Great job!

199 Schools to Participate in Voucher Programs

DPI said 199 schools have qualified to participate in the state’s three school choice programs.

There is overlap in the schools participating in the Milwaukee program that are also able to accept kids who participate in the voucher program through Race or the statewide options. Racine schools can also accept kids through the statewide program.

LFB Releases Budget Summary

Yesterday, the Legislative Fiscal Bureau (LFB) released its summary of the Governor’s budget recommendations.  This is the most important document for explaining exactly what is in the Governor’s proposed budget.
