Senate Committee to Hold Hearing on Virtual Education

The Senate Committee On Government Operations, Technology, & Consumer Protection will hold an informational hearing on virtual education at 10:00 am, Thursday, July 23rd, in Room 412 East, State Capitol.
The Committee will hear invited testimony from:
- Wisconsin Virtual Academy
- Department of Public Instruction
- Wisconsin Association of School Boards
- School Administrators Alliance
- School Choice Wisconsin
The committee will hear testimony from invited speakers only. Other organizations or persons, as invited by the Chair, may also appear.
The committee will meet, pursuant to s. 13.42, Stats. Due to the utilization of social distancing guidelines, seating in room 412 East may be limited.
Members of the public may also observe the hearing in the State Capitol Rotunda or through WisconsinEye coverage available at https://wiseye.org/live/.
An overflow room will be available in Room 400 SE.
